Cordello Elementary Color

Principal’s Message

Dr. Nathaniel Marner

Dear Cordello Families,

March brings with it the promise of spring — a season of growth, renewal, and fresh beginnings. In our elementary school, this is one of the most exciting times of the year. Our students are blossoming academically, building confidence, and showing just how much they have grown since September. It is truly inspiring to see their curiosity, kindness, and perseverance shine each day.

In classrooms, students are engaging in hands-on learning, collaborative problem-solving, and thoughtful discussions. From strengthening reading skills and tackling challenging math concepts to exploring science investigations and creative writing, our young learners continue to stretch themselves in remarkable ways. We are so proud of their effort and positive attitudes.

As we approach spring assessments and continued academic milestones, we ask families to help reinforce strong habits at home:

  • Prioritize consistent attendance
  • Maintain healthy bedtime routines
  • Encourage nightly reading
  • Celebrate effort and growth

Please know that confidence matters just as much as content. When children believe in themselves, they are willing to take risks, try new strategies, and persevere through challenges. Together, we can nurture both the heart and the mind of every child.

Thank you for your continued partnership, encouragement, and support. The energy, smiles, and enthusiasm our students bring each morning remind us why this work is so meaningful. I look forward to a month filled with growth, celebration, and the excitement that spring always brings.

Educationally Yours,

Nathaniel Marner, Ed.D., Principal, Cordello Avenue Elementary School
