Principal’s Message

Dr. Nathaniel Marner

Dear Cordello Families,

As we welcome November, I want to thank you for your partnership and the many ways you support our students each day. This month brings opportunities to reflect, connect, and celebrate learning.

Teaching & Learning Highlights
Teachers are wrapping up key units and assessing students' progress. Please take a moment to review the units with your child and celebrate growth.

Attendance Matters
Consistent, on-time attendance helps students thrive. If your child will be absent, please notify your child’s teacher and our social worker Ms. Blanco. Let us know how we can help if attendance has become a challenge.

Wellness
Cold-Weather Preparedness: Please send students with labeled coats, hats, and gloves. If your family needs assistance with winter gear, reach out to Ms. Blanco.

Digital Citizenship
We continue teaching students to be safe, kind, and responsible online. You can reinforce this at home by setting device-free times (for example, during dinner and one hour before bedtime) and by checking in on what your child is viewing.

Community & Giving
November is a month of gratitude and service. Our food drive runs November 3 – November 14. Thank you for supporting neighbors in need.

Important Dates
11/4: Election Day – No School for Students
11/5: Student of the Month Awards at 6:00 pm
11/5: PTA Meeting at 6:30 pm
11/7: PTA Fall Festival
